Description
The message "I Love You", written in Braille characters. The Braille systems was devised by Louis Braille in 1821 and is now widely used by blind people to read and write. Each Braille character is made up of six dot positions, arranged in a rectangle, two columns wide by 3 rows deep. A dot may be on (raised), or off, giving a total combination of 64 possible characters. The Braille alphabet was one of the world's first binary encoding schemes for representing the characters of the alphabet. This art print, of the words "I Love You" written in braille characters, is flat and not raised like traditional braille text.
